Tan Dinh Church, the Cafe Apartment and Independence Palace, then a day out on the Mekong's waterways.
A short trip entirely based in Saigon, with one full day out on the Mekong Delta's waterways. In the city: the pink facade of Tan Dinh Church, the plant-covered balconies of the Cafe Apartment on Nguyen Hue, Independence Palace, and the street-food stalls of Ho Thi Ky market. Out on the Mekong, an early start and a day spent on the water — boats, canals, and a slower pace of life than the city you just left. Drop-in pickleball is built in for anyone who wants a game — optional, and easy to skip.
Everything below is a sample itinerary. We tailor the pace and the play to your group before you travel.
Every stop on this trip, in one place — the real itinerary is below.
Saigon as your base the whole trip, with one long day out on the Mekong.
Land in Saigon and transfer to your hotel. Once you're settled, an easy evening out — a walk past the Cafe Apartment on Nguyen Hue, where every floor seems to hide another café or plant shop, then a welcome dinner nearby.
A full day around the city. Start at Tan Dinh Church, easy to spot by its pink facade, then on to Independence Palace for a look at Vietnam's modern history. In the evening, Ho Thi Ky market for some of the city's best street food — go hungry. We'll fit in your first optional pickleball session during the day.
An early start — the drive out of Saigon is easiest before the heat sets in. Spend the day on the water: a boat through the Delta's main channels, then smaller canals lined with coconut palms, getting a feel for everyday life along the river. Lunch is eaten on the water before the drive back to Saigon in the evening.
A day with nothing fixed — more of the Cafe Apartment's rooftop cafés, a wander through District 1, or just recovering from yesterday's early start. Your second optional pickleball session fits in whenever suits you.
A free morning to finish up Saigon — one more café, a last look at Ho Thi Ky market, or just packing at your own pace. Private transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
