When do your tours depart?
Whenever you want them to. There's no fixed schedule and no group to wait for — every trip is private, so you pick the start date. Tell us roughly when you're thinking and we'll confirm what works around the courts, cruises and flights.
Can I come solo?
Yes, and plenty of people do. Because the trip is private, going solo works just like any other size: same guide, same courts, same itinerary. For rooming you can take a single room (a small supplement) or we can pair you to share if you'd rather. Either way we price it clearly before you commit.
Do I need to bring a paddle?
No. We keep loaner paddles in every common weight and grip size, and balls are on us. That said, most people bring their own — it's the one thing you'll miss on day 3. Either way works.
I've only played a few times. Will I hold everyone up?
No, and this is the question we get most. We split sessions by level so games stay competitive on both courts, and there's coaching every morning for anyone who wants it. We've had people book this trip having never held a paddle. They come back the next year at 3.0.
How hot is it, really?
Hot enough that we don't play after 10am. That's why every session is early and every afternoon is free. October to April is the comfortable window nationwide; the central coast is best March to August. Tell us your dates and we'll be honest about what you're walking into.
Do I need a visa?
Most passports need a Vietnam e-visa, which you apply for online yourself — it's straightforward and takes a few days. A handful of countries get a visa exemption. We'll tell you exactly which applies to your passport before you book anything.
What are the courts actually like?
Better than you'd expect. Vietnam has picked up pickleball fast, and the clubs in Hanoi, Da Nang and Saigon are proper dedicated indoor and outdoor facilities with real nets and real lines. We only use courts we've played on ourselves.
Can you build a trip that isn't on this page?
Yes, and roughly half of our groups do. Sapa, Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Ninh Binh — if there's a court within reach, we can build around it. Even a solo traveller or a couple is enough — every trip is private anyway.
What if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation and full deposit refund up to 45 days before departure. Inside 45 days we'll do what we can depending on what's already been paid to hotels and cruises. We'll be upfront about it rather than hiding behind a policy page.
Is the trip suitable for a non-playing partner?
Very. Play is roughly 3 hours a morning; the rest of the trip is Vietnam. Non-playing partners pay the same, do everything except the sessions, and usually spend those mornings at the beach or in a coffee shop. Several have ended up playing by day 4.
