Do I need a visa for Vietnam?
It depends on your passport. Citizens of the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and many other European countries, plus Japan and South Korea, can enter visa-free for up to 45 days. Americans, Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders and the Irish need an e-visa. Tell us your passport and travel dates and we'll tell you straight whether you need one. If you don't, we'll say so and you pay us nothing.
How much does a Vietnam e-visa cost?
Our prices are per person and include the Vietnamese government fee. A single-entry e-visa is $48 for 7 to 10 working days, $61 for 3 working days and $69 for 2 working days. Multiple entry is $73, $86 (30-day) or $89 (90-day), and $95. Need it faster than that? Emergency processing takes 1 working day, 4 hours, 2 hours or 1 hour: message us or fill in the form for a quote. We confirm the total in writing before we submit anything. If you apply yourself on evisa.gov.vn the government fee alone is US$25 single or US$50 multiple, and it is not refunded if an application is refused.
Do you offer visa on arrival (VOA)?
Yes. We apply for the approval letter online, you receive it by email, and you collect the visa at the airport. Visa on arrival from us is $55 (single entry) or $80 (multiple entry) for 4 working days, $61 or $86 for 3 working days, and $69 or $95 for 2 working days. It only works at Vietnam's international airports, so it's not for land or sea arrivals. If you can, the e-visa is simpler.
Can I just apply myself?
Yes, and plenty of people do. The official site is evisa.gov.vn and our e-visa guide walks you through it. Use us if you'd rather hand it over: you send your photos once, we fill in the form, check every field against your passport and keep an eye on the application until your PDF arrives.
How long does it take?
You choose. Standard is 7 to 10 working days, then 3 working days or 2 working days at a higher price. For anything faster, use our emergency service (1 working day, 4 hours, 2 hours or 1 hour): message us on WhatsApp or fill in the form and we reply with a quote. Processing can slow down around Tet and public holidays, so please ask us at least two weeks before you fly if you can.
What do you need from me?
A clear portrait photo, a photo of your passport photo page, your name exactly as printed in your passport, your email, your arrival date and the airport you land at, and the address of your first hotel. Please don't type passport numbers into the web form: we ask for the photos on WhatsApp or email once we've talked.
What if my e-visa is refused?
It's rare when every field matches your passport, which is why we check each one. If the immigration office refuses an application, we tell you why and what your options are. The government fee is not refunded, and we'll be upfront about this before you commit.
What do I do when the e-visa arrives?
Print it and keep one copy in your hand luggage, and keep the PDF on your phone as a backup. Check that your name, passport number and dates are right the moment it lands, because a typo is far easier to fix at home than at the airport desk. Flying into Saigon? Fill in the free Digital Arrival Card too, covered in the e-visa guide.
Can you also book the airport pickup and fast track?
Yes. Tick them on the form. Airport pickup starts from $35 per car, and fast track starts from $15 per person in Hanoi ($29 in Saigon). If you only need a ride, our airport pickup is a separate booking. We can add a Landing Kit with an eSIM ($55), a First Evening walk ($95 per person) and a morning game with locals (from $45 per person). Your e-visa has to be approved first, so we order it that way.
Can you plan the whole trip, not just the visa?
That's what we do. Our private pickleball tours start from $999 and every one is planned around your dates, with the airport pickup and visa help available on top. See the tours or ask for a tailor-made trip.
