Pickleball lessons in Vietnam cost about $28 to $45 each, depending on how many people are in the class. Each coach teaches two or three players at most, so you get real feedback, not a crowd. We choose the coaches ourselves and build the lesson into your private trip.

The short answer

Price: Roughly $28 to $45 per lesson, depending on how many people join the class.

Class size: Two or three players per coach, at most. A bigger party gets more coaches, not a bigger class.

Coaches: We select them ourselves, so you are not handed to whoever is free that morning.

How to book: Message us your dates, your level and the shot you want to fix, and we arrange it around your trip.

Can tourists take pickleball lessons in Vietnam?

Yes, and it is one of the easiest things to add to a trip. A lesson is short, it suits any level, and it costs far less than most visitors expect. We arrange lessons as part of a private trip, so the court, the coach and the ride there are all sorted before you land.

How much do pickleball lessons cost in Vietnam?

Our lessons cost roughly $28 to $45 each. The price depends on how many people join the class. Tell us your group size and your dates, and we confirm the exact figure and what it includes before you pay anything.

One good lesson in your first few days can fix more than a week of casual play.

How many people are in a class?

Two or three players per coach is the limit. We keep classes small on purpose. With only two or three people, a coach can watch every serve and every third shot drop, and tell each player what to change.

If your party is bigger, we add coaches. We do not put a larger group on one coach, because that turns a lesson into a drill with a crowd and nobody gets proper feedback.

Who are the coaches?

We choose them ourselves. A lesson is only as good as the person giving it, so we do not send you to whoever happens to be free. Clear English matters here, because plenty of coaches can show a shot but cannot explain it. Tell us your level and what you want to fix, and we match you to the right person.

Private lesson or small class?

Choose a private lesson if you want one thing fixed, and a small class if you are travelling with friends. Alone, the coach's whole attention is on your swing, serve or footwork. With two or three players, you share the time but can learn from each other's mistakes, and the lesson is more fun.

My advice for most visitors over 50 is one lesson in the first two or three days, then open play for the rest of the trip. You take home one clear fix and then practice it against real opponents. If you are coming to compete, add a lesson before your event. My guide to playing a tournament in Vietnam covers that side.

How do I book a lesson?

Message us with five details and we do the rest. We arrange the lesson around your hotel and your other plans.

  1. Your dates and the city you will be in.
  2. How many people want to join the lesson.
  3. Your level, or your DUPR rating if you have one.
  4. The one shot or habit you most want to fix.
  5. Anything the coach should know, such as a bad knee or a long flight the day before.

How do I get the most from one lesson?

Tell the coach the one shot that costs you points and ask for that shot, rather than a general session. Take a short video of yourself afterward so you can check your swing the next morning. And do not book it on the day you land. Jet lag and heat blunt what you can absorb, so give yourself a day first. See my guide to pickleball in Da Nang, Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City for where you will play afterward.

Want a coach session built into your trip?

Tell us your level and the shot you want to fix. We will arrange a coach as part of a private trip, with the court, the ride there and the rest of the day planned around it.

Frequently asked questions

Can tourists take pickleball lessons in Vietnam?

Yes. We arrange lessons as part of a private trip, with coaches we choose ourselves. A lesson costs about $28 to $45, depending on how many people are in the class. Each coach teaches two or three players at most, so you get real feedback on your game.

How much does a pickleball lesson cost in Vietnam?

Our lessons cost roughly $28 to $45 each, depending on how many people join the class. Tell us your dates, your group size and your level, and we will confirm the exact price and what it includes. Prices can change, so we check the figure for your dates.

How many people are in each class?

Two or three players per coach is the maximum. If your party is bigger, we add more coaches instead of squeezing more players onto one. That keeps each class small enough for the coach to watch every player's shots and give specific advice.

Who teaches the lessons?

We choose the coaches ourselves rather than send you to whoever is free. A good coach is the whole point of a lesson, so we pick people who can explain technique and strategy clearly. Tell us your level and what you want to fix, and we match you.

Are lessons good for beginners?

Yes. Beginners often get the most from a lesson, because a coach can fix grip, footwork and basic shots before bad habits set in. Tell us your level when you book, and we will match you with a coach and a class of the right size.

The bottom line

Lessons here are affordable, small and a smart use of one morning. Book one early in your trip, tell us your level and the shot you want to fix, and then spend the rest of your mornings playing. We choose the coach and handle the rest.
