in Hoi An

Where to play near the Old Town and a short ride out, and what we actually know about each court.

8 of Kevin's picks Grouped by where you stay Checked 2 November 2026
The short version

Hoi An is small, so most courts are close

Four of the eight courts are in or near the Old Town. The rest are a short ride out, and two of those need a look at the map first.

Summit and The ClubHouse

Both score 4.8. Summit has 8 covered courts, and The ClubHouse sits inside the Old Town on Ba Trieu.

Want a covered court

How we list courts

What you can trust here

What the labels mean

  • Kevin's pick means Kevin chose the court after checking its reviews, location and recent activity. Nobody pays to be here.
  • Kevin has played here means he has been on the court. Right now that is none of the courts on this page, and we say so.
  • Ratings are Google's, with the number of reviews next to them. A 4.8 from 11 reviews tells you less than a 4.7 from 127.

Where the details come from

  • Ratings, hours and phone numbers come from Google Maps and each club's Facebook page. Last check: 2 November 2026.
  • We update a card when a club sends us its own photos and details, so a "photo coming soon" card is waiting for the club's own pictures.
  • A court is on the list when it is active, close to where travellers stay, and has a phone or booking link.
Before you go

Timing

  • Hoi An is hot and humid in summer. Play early or in the evening, or choose a covered court.
  • Clubs here close earlier than in the big cities: 8pm to 10pm.

Questions people ask

Which pickleball court is closest to Hoi An Old Town?

Summit Hoi An Pickleball Club (96A Tran Hung Dao) says it is next to the Old Town, and The ClubHouse (20 Ba Trieu) puts itself inside it. Poon Poon is on Nguyen Duy Hieu, also in the Old Town area.

Do the courts have a roof?

Summit says all 8 of its courts are indoor and covered, and Da Nang's Dao Xanh has roofed courts too. For most Hoi An courts we do not yet know, so ask when you book.

Do I need to book a court in advance?

Often yes, especially in the evening. Balanca takes online bookings, others use phone or Zalo, usually in Vietnamese. If you would rather not arrange it yourself, we can do it for you.

Are the details on this page confirmed by the courts?

Ratings, opening times and phone numbers come from Google Maps and each club's Facebook page, last checked 2 November 2026. We update a card when a club sends us its own photos and details.

Want it arranged for you?

Tell us your dates and where you are staying. We will find you a court and local players, or build the games into a trip across Vietnam.
