Yes, you can play pickleball in Nha Trang, and it's one of the easiest beach cities in Vietnam to get a game. There are more than ten venues, from 8 and 10-court complexes to covered halls a few streets from the beach, and an hour on court costs 50,000 to 230,000 VND, split between four. Here are the courts worth your time, what they cost, how visitors join a game and the months when outdoor play is at its best.
The short version
Biggest venues: ARENA Nha Trang (10 courts) and DSD Pickleball (8 courts), both in the new urban areas south and west of the centre.
Close to the beach hotels: Yasaka (1 Yersin), Vien Dong (65 Le Thanh Ton) and the 6-court indoor hall on Dien Bien Phu.
Price: 50,000 to 230,000 VND per court per hour. Mornings are cheapest; 4pm to 8pm is peak.
Getting a game: the Reclub app. DSD (573 members) and Nha Trang Pickleball Club for All (442) post open sessions there.
Best months outdoors: February to August. October and November are the wettest; play indoors then.
Can you play pickleball in Nha Trang?
Yes. Nha Trang has a busy local scene with more than ten venues, most open from 5 or 6am until 10pm, and visitors can book a court by the hour or join an open game without being a club member.
The game arrived later here than in Hanoi or Saigon and then grew very fast. In November 2024 the provincial newspaper Bao Khanh Hoa counted about ten clubs and court clusters in Khanh Hoa province. In July 2026, the provincial tournament for all age categories (9 to 12 July) drew more than 350 players from 33 clubs and units, the biggest field it has had, according to Bao Van Hoa. New complexes keep opening in the urban areas on the edge of the city.
I've played here myself. Nha Trang was one stop on the 18-day trip with two American players that started this business, and we played at Da Quoc: a morning swim, an evening game. The story is in our guide to where to play pickleball in Vietnam.
Addresses changed in 2025
Since Vietnam's 2025 administrative reform, the old city of Nha Trang is split into new wards (Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, Nam Nha Trang, Tay Nha Trang) inside a larger Khanh Hoa province. Court listings still use the old ward names, such as Vinh Thai or Phuoc Long, and booking apps use the new ones. Navigate by street address and the court's name on Google Maps, not by ward.
Where are the best pickleball courts in Nha Trang?
For the biggest choice of games, go to ARENA Nha Trang or DSD Pickleball. For a covered hall near the beach hotels, use Dien Bien Phu, Yasaka or Vien Dong. For a resort setting with a view, Champa Island.

Prices and hours come from the lool.vn booking listings (checked 2 November 2026), Decathlon Vietnam's Nha Trang court guide (updated July 2025), Bao Khanh Hoa (court counts, November 2024) and Champa Island's own page. Courts change their rates often, so treat the column as a guide and check the price when you book.
ARENA Nha Trang: the most courts in one place
Ten courts at the corner of streets T6 and A3 in the An Binh Tan urban area, open 5am to 10pm every day, from 90,000 VND an hour on lool.vn. With ten courts it's the easiest place to find a free one at short notice. It's out in the new urban area, so take a Grab or Xanh SM from the beach hotels.
DSD Pickleball: the strongest club scene
Eight courts on street 94 in the Thai Hung urban area (old Vinh Thai commune, now Nam Nha Trang on booking apps), open 6am to 10pm, 120,000 to 150,000 VND an hour on lool.vn. DSD runs one of the city's two big Reclub communities, with 573 members and more than 300 activities logged. If you want a game against good local players, this is the place.
Dien Bien Phu: the indoor hall
Six indoor courts at 260 Dien Bien Phu, north of the centre, listed at 5am to 11pm and 70,000 to 150,000 VND an hour. Being fully indoors, it's the safest booking for a wet afternoon or the rainy months. It gets busy after work.
Da Quoc: where I played
Six courts on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street, under a high steel roof that keeps off the sun and the rain. It's a local hall rather than a resort court. Hours and prices aren't on the booking apps, so message us or ask your hotel to call ahead.
Yasaka and Vien Dong: walk from the beach
If you're staying on the Tran Phu beach strip, these two are the closest. Yasaka at 1 Yersin has four roofed courts, 6am to 10pm. Vien Dong at 65 Le Thanh Ton has four courts, two covered and two in the open, 5am to 11pm, 100,000 to 160,000 VND an hour on lool.vn. Both are smaller than DSD or ARENA, but they're a short ride from the beach.
Cheaper courts
Olala on Thich Quang Duc (four outdoor courts, 70,000 to 120,000 VND), K29 on Thuy Xuong (50,000 to 100,000 VND) and TT2D on Ly Ong Trong (eight roofed courts, from 60,000 VND) are the budget end. The province's sports training and competition centre at Hon Ro also has three courts, per Bao Khanh Hoa.
How much does it cost to play pickleball in Nha Trang?
You rent the court, not a place on it: 50,000 to 230,000 VND per court per hour, which works out at roughly 12,000 to 60,000 VND each when four of you share it. Early morning and midday are cheapest, and 4pm to 8pm is the peak.
Bao Khanh Hoa's survey of city courts gave 120,000 to 160,000 VND off-peak (6am to 4pm) and 160,000 to 220,000 VND at peak (4pm to 8pm). The newer booking listings start lower, from 50,000 to 90,000 VND for early slots at the budget courts. Open club sessions on Reclub usually charge a flat fee per player instead; the organiser shows it when you join.
- Paddles: bigger venues lend or rent them, but bring your own if you care what you play with. Bao Khanh Hoa put local paddle prices at 500,000 to over 2 million VND; our paddle buying guide has the shops.
- Cash: bring some. Small courts may not take cards; see money in Vietnam.
How do you join a pickleball game in Nha Trang as a visitor?
Download the Reclub app and join the Nha Trang clubs. DSD Pickleball and Nha Trang Pickleball Club for All post open sessions there, and Club for All says it welcomes locals, expats and beginners. You book a spot, pay the session fee and turn up.
Club for All has 442 members on Reclub and asks only that you bring a paddle and a good attitude. It's the easier door for a visitor: the club describes itself as mixed-level and open to expats. DSD is the place for a stronger local game.
No app? Book a court for the first morning slot and ask the staff to find you partners. Mornings are quieter, players are more relaxed, and a visitor at 6am is still something people come over to talk to. A few words of Vietnamese help a lot: our pickleball in Vietnamese cheat sheet has the score calls and the polite phrases.
Which resorts in Nha Trang have pickleball courts?
Champa Island Nha Trang has a pickleball court open 6am to 10pm, booked through the Alobo app. Nha Trang Marriott Resort and Spa on Hon Tre Island lists tennis and pickleball courts. Most Cam Ranh resorts near the airport list tennis, not pickleball, so ask before you book.
Champa Island is about 3.6 km from the centre, and its court is open-air and shaded. On Hon Tre, across the bay, the Marriott lists pickleball among its activities, and a Vietnamese travel site reported that the Vinpearl resort court there takes outside players from about 150,000 VND an hour; we haven't confirmed that with Vinpearl, so check at reception. Hon Tre is across the bay from the city, so a resort court there makes sense only if you're staying on the island.
Cam Ranh, about 40 km south, is where the big beach resorts are. They change their facilities often: the Westin Cam Ranh ran pickleball sessions in early 2026 and Duyen Ha promoted a pickleball and tennis package in 2025, but neither is a full-time public court. If a court matters to you, ask the resort for the court's hours and price in writing. Our guide to resorts with pickleball courts in Vietnam explains what to ask.
When is the best time to play pickleball in Nha Trang?
February to August. These are Nha Trang's dry months, with under 85 mm of rain a month and plenty of sun. October and November are the wettest, with over 300 mm on about 18 days, so book indoor courts then.
| Months | Day / night | Rain | For pickleball |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | 27°C / 21°C | 43 mm, 9 days | Good, breezy, a few showers |
| February to April | 28 to 31°C / 22 to 25°C | 16 to 42 mm, 4 to 5 days | Best: dry, sunny, not yet hot |
| May to August | 32 to 33°C / 25 to 26°C | 42 to 82 mm, 8 to 10 days | Good: play by 8am or after 4pm |
| September | 32°C / 25°C | 166 mm, 14 days | Mixed: rains begin |
| October to November | 29 to 30°C / 24°C | 312 to 382 mm, 18 days | Wettest: indoor courts only |
| December | 27°C / 22°C | 191 mm, 14 days | Wet early, drier late |
Figures are long-term monthly averages for Nha Trang from the Vietnam Institute for Building Science and Technology. Nha Trang's calendar runs the opposite way to Hanoi and Saigon: it's dry in the summer when the north and south are wet, and wet in the autumn. That makes it a good June to August beach stop; see Vietnam in June 2027 and our best time to visit Vietnam guide.
Whatever the month, play early or late. From May to August the midday sun is strong even under a roof, and our guide to playing pickleball in the heat covers water, electrolytes and when to stop.

Plan a tailor-made tripWhat does a pickleball day in Nha Trang look like?
A game from 6 to 8am, a swim and breakfast, a slow middle of the day, then the mud baths, the Po Nagar towers or a boat to the islands in the afternoon, and seafood on the beach at night.
Two or three days is right for most players: one morning at a big complex, one with a club session, one easy day on the water. Our Nha Trang travel guide has the beaches, the mud baths compared and the cafes. Nha Trang pairs well with Da Lat up in the hills, where it's cool enough to play at noon.
Nha Trang isn't on our sample routes, but it fits into any of them as a beach stop. Add two nights between the centre and the south on the Top to Bottom route, from $1,999, or after Da Nang and Hoi An, from $999. For the courts further north, see pickleball in Da Nang and pickleball in Hoi An; to the south, pickleball in Ho Chi Minh City; for the island beach stop, pickleball in Phu Quoc.
What should you bring to play in Nha Trang?
- Your own paddle. Our guide to flying with a paddle to Vietnam covers the airline rules.
- Court shoes with non-marking soles for the indoor halls.
- Two shirts per session, a cap and a small towel. It's humid even at 6am.
- Electrolyte sachets and a big bottle of water.
- Reclub on your phone, set up before you land. Our what to wear guide has the rest.
